Ours begins with Iryna — a native of Ukraine who traded a familiar world for the unknown streets of New York, carrying little more than a pair of shears, 16 years of experience, and an unshakable belief that hair is art. When Iryna first arrived in Manhattan, she didn’t just look for a job. She looked for a place to belong. She found it — and then she built it. Over the years, she poured her Ukrainian craftsmanship, European sensibility, and New York grit into creating what would become **Hair Art Designs**: her beauty home in the heart of Gramercy.
The salon wasn’t built in a day. It was built client by client, balayage by balayage, one conversation at a time. Iryna listened — really listened — to what her guests wanted, and she realized something important: people weren’t just coming for good hair. They were coming to feel seen, heard, and transformed.

With over 16 years of artistry, Iryna is the heart and soul of Hair Art Designs. A balayage specialist who thinks in tones, textures, and movement, she’s built a loyal following of New Yorkers who trust no one else with their color. Her eye is European. Her spirit is New York. Her work speaks for itself.
Jenipher
Lived-In Color & Blonde Specialist
Jenipher has a gift for creating color that looks like it grew from you.
She specializes in lived-in blondes, soft brunettes, and that perfectly undone color that somehow looks effortless – but takes a true artist to achieve. She’s the quiet genius behind some of our most stunning transformations.
Rafael
Editorial Stylist & Volume Architect
An ex-Brooklynettes stylist with editorial chops that translate to real-world wearability, Rafael brings drama, shape, and movement to every cut. Whether you need a red-carpet updo or a daily style that turns heads, he knows exactly how to make hair behave — beautifully.
