1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Hair Art Designs website (the “Site”) or booking any services with Hair Art Designs (“H-Art Designs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or book our services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of Hair Art Designs, located at 302 East 19th Street, New York, NY 10003.

2. Description of Services

Hair Art Designs provides professional hair styling, coloring, cutting, and related beauty services (the “Services”). Services are provided by licensed stylists at our salon location. All services are subject to availability and stylist scheduling.

3. Appointments & Booking

Appointments may be booked via our online booking system (Phorest), by phone at 212-300-4407, by text at 332-323-3125, or by email at hairartdesigns302@gmail.com.

By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your name, contact information, and any relevant health or allergy details that could affect your service.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We maintain a firm but fair cancellation policy to respect our stylists’ time and our clients’ needs:

• 24-Hour Cancellation: Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will be charged 50% of the service fee.
• No-Shows: Clients who fail to arrive for their appointment without prior notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.
• Late Arrivals: Clients arriving more than 30 minutes past their scheduled appointment time may be asked to reschedule or may receive a modified service, at the stylist’s discretion. The cancellation policy applies to late arrivals who cannot be accommodated.
• Grace Period: We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible — we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

These charges may be collected via the payment method on file or invoiced for future payment.

5. 7-Day Redo Policy

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not completely happy with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will make reasonable adjustments to the service at no additional charge.

Please note:

• Adjustments are provided free of charge within the 7-day window.
• Refunds are not issued for services rendered. Our redo policy covers corrective adjustments only.
• Requests outside the 7-day window will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may incur charges.
• Certain services (e.g., chemical treatments that cannot be safely redone within 7 days) may require a waiting period before adjustment. Our stylists will advise on timing.

6. Gift Cards

• Gift cards purchased from Hair Art Designs are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Gift cards may be used toward any service or retail product.
• Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

7. Product Returns & Exchanges

We carry professional hair care products carefully selected by our stylists.

• Unopened products may be returned within 7 days of purchase for exchange or store credit. A receipt is required.
• Opened products may be returned within 7 days of purchase with a 25% restocking fee. A receipt is required.
• Products must be at least 75% full to qualify for return.
• Sale items, final sale items, and promotional products are not eligible for return or exchange.

8. Payment Terms

Payment for services and products is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at our salon.

Prices for services and products are subject to change without prior notice. We will confirm pricing at the time of booking.

9. Client Responsibilities

By receiving services at Hair Art Designs, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your hair history, including any prior chemical treatments, color services, allergies, or medical conditions that could affect the service.
• Follow all post-service care instructions provided by your stylist.
• Communicate any discomfort, concerns, or questions during the service.
• Treat our staff and other clients with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving abusively, aggressively, or inappropriately.

10. Limitation of Liability

Hair Art Designs, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Allergic reactions to products used, provided that we have been informed of known allergies in advance.
• Damage resulting from failure to disclose prior chemical treatments, hair history, or relevant medical conditions.
• Hair color results that differ from inspiration photos due to differences in existing hair color, texture, condition, or other individual factors. We will provide our professional assessment during consultation before the service.
• Loss or damage to personal property brought into the salon.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services or use of our website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Disclaimers

• Results may vary. Before-and-after photos are examples of our work and are not guarantees of identical results for every client. Individual results depend on hair type, condition, history, and other factors.
• Consultation is key. We strongly recommend an in-person consultation before any major chemical service to assess feasibility and expected outcomes.
• Product recommendations are based on professional assessment. Results from home care products may vary.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, photographs, logos, and branding — is the property of H-Art Designs unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Photographs of clients are used with permission. If you prefer not to have your photos used, please let us know.

13. Privacy
